Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
KindQuest ("we", "us") is a game that turns your real tasks into quests. This policy explains what data the app uses and why. We keep it simple: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data.
1. What stays on your phone
- Your quests, journal and mood notes. They are stored on your device.
- Your proud-moment photos. Photos you take or pick stay on your device. They are only shared if you choose to share a story yourself.
2. What we store on our servers
- Your account, if you sign in with Apple or Google: an identifier and, if you allow it, your email address.
- Your game progress backup (companions, cards, coins, worlds), so you can restore it on a new phone.
- Your collectible cards, because print runs are counted worldwide.
- Your purchases and subscription status, received from Apple, Google and our payment partner RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
3. Analytics and crash reports
We use PostHog to understand how the app is used (for example which screens are opened and whether a quest was finished) and Firebase Crashlytics to fix crashes. These events are linked to a random identifier, not to your name. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
4. Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your phone. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your phone settings.
5. Children
KindQuest is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can erase all data on your phone from the app menu ("Erase my data").
- You can ask us to delete your account and server data, or to send you a copy, by writing to diwan.amara@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
- Residents of California and the European Union have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability); the same email address applies.
7. Service providers
Supabase (database and accounts), RevenueCat (purchases), PostHog (analytics), Google Firebase (crash reports), Apple and Google (app stores and sign-in). They process data only to provide their service to us.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and tell you in the app for important changes.
